One & Only was created by Tina Hansen, a woman with a lifelong passion for wedding dresses and the magic that surrounds a wedding. But by her side stands an experienced mentor, Betina Lykke Lysbo, who has dedicated most of her life to the wedding dress industry. Together they form a unique team where tradition and innovation merge to create the perfect experience for brides-to-be.
Tina has always been fascinated by beautiful dresses, fabrics and details. Her passion for weddings began as a child, admiring how a simple outfit could make a person shine. “I have always dreamed of creating a place where brides can feel beautiful, safe and inspired in their search for their dream dress,” she says.
With a deep understanding of what it takes to create a personalized and stress-free experience, she decided to open her own bridal boutique. One & Only is not just a boutique – it is a place where brides receive personalized advice and warm-hearted service in an intimate and exclusive atmosphere.
Betina is a true veteran in the wedding dress industry. She has been working with wedding dresses since 1992, and she started her own shop, Lykkes Brudekjoler, which became an institution in Ballerup for more than 20 years.
“I started with nine wedding dresses in our small townhouse in Værløse, where we had to clear away the toys when customers came,” laughs Betina. It was the start of a lifelong career, where she helped countless brides find the perfect dress.
After an eight-year break from the industry, she was introduced to Tina, and something in her was reawakened. “It was like an old circus horse sniffing the ring. I couldn’t help it,” she says with a smile. Now she’s helping Tina build One & Only, bringing her vast experience and personal approach to the store.
